Aceh contributes 5% of the total national rice production, amounting to 36 million tons annually. Nevertheless, the inadequate management of rice distribution in Aceh is primarily attributed to the disruptive impact of climate change on the rice production in Aceh, partly due to the adverse effects of climate change on the performance of rice farmers in the province. Disruptions at the farmer level can have far-reaching consequences on the entire food supply chain network, leading to imbalances between supply and demand. This research unequivocally aims to decisively address the complexity of risks in rice production caused by climate change. By conducting a meticulous risk analysis and implementing stringent mitigation strategies at the farmer level to markedly improve their ability to manage these risks, the unwavering goal is to optimize the supply chain network and devising mitigation strategies capable of fostering resilience to climate change, thereby establishing a sustainable agricultural system. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing.
