This meta-analysis intended to determine the digestibility of fiber and non-fiber carbohydrates of small ruminants fed palm kernel cake (PKC). The 13 papers included in this study were sourced from three databases i.e., Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Springer Link. The data was statistically analyzed using PROC MIXED methodology, with the different treatments as a random effect, while PKC inclusion was considered a fixed effect. The significant effect was quantified when its p-value was <0.05. The evidence explained that PKC inclusion in small ruminant diets has a quadratic influence on reducing the acid detergent fiber digestibility (P=0.002). However, it did not influence the digestibility of crude fiber, non-fiber carbohydrates, and neutral detergent fiber (P>0.05). It can be concluded that the addition of PKC in small ruminant diets has an acceptable effect since it does not reduce carbohydrate degradation. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing.
