This research aims to determine the application of technical aspects of goat farming in Kutalimbaru District. This research was carried out for 1 month from 10 May to 10 June in Kutalimbaru District, Deli Serdang Regency, consisting of 4 villages (Lau Bakeri, Perpanen, Sampe Cita, Pasar X). This research used a survey method of 96 Etawa crossbreed goat breeders. The data obtained was processed by calculating the percentage score and then compared with the categories determined by the Directorate General of Animal Husbandry in 1994. The results of the research showed that the application of technical aspects of raising Etawa crossbreed goats obtained in Kutalimbaru District was 40.21%, including the application of technical aspects of breeding and reproduction 37, 81%, feed aspect 33.57%, maintenance management aspect 56.20%, health aspect 39.50%, cage and equipment aspect 52.09%. It can be concluded that the implementation of the technical aspects of rearing Etawa crossbreed goats in Kutalimbaru District is not in accordance with the 1994 Directorate General of Animal Husbandry guidelines. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing.
