The significant impact of digitalization on human activities has transformed daily life, yet the benefits of administrative reforms remain debatable. To address the need for reliable data sources in distributing social protection programs, the Indonesian government established the Data Terpadu Kesejahteraan Sosial (DTKS), leveraging technology. This study examines how DTKS technology provides insights into achieving poverty alleviation and enhancing social welfare in Indonesia. Poverty and inequality persist as challenges in Indonesia, with nearly 9.5% of the population living below the national poverty line. Various policies and programs aim to address these issues, relying on accurate data for effectiveness. The era of technological advancement has revolutionized data utilization, with systems like DTKS crucial for improving the accuracy and efficiency of social welfare programs. Despite benefits, DTKS faces challenges like data security and dynamic data requirements. Academic research is vital for understanding DTKS's long-term impacts and identifying areas for improvement, enriching discussions on its role in achieving sustainable development goals. Through DTKS, Indonesia aims to enhance transparency, accountability, and resource allocation in poverty alleviation efforts, but challenges such as data security and dynamic data requirements must be addressed for optimal effectiveness. © 2025 A.
