Hirschsprung's disease (HD) is characterized by the absence of ganglionic neuronal innervation cells of the bowel wall in the distal portion, some milder cases are well tolerated and diagnosed after infancy or following a pullthrough surgery. In this report, we present a case of an eight years old male patient with residual HD associated enterocolitis (HAEC). The patient was referred from a different hospital with abdominal distention, constipation, diarrhea, and routine laxative for defecation with chronic constipation suspected HAEC after transanal endorectal pull-through like Soave procedure 4 years ago. After surgery, the patients did not come for routine post-operative follow up. The patient was later diagnosed with residual HD with HAEC. We performed redo operatives pull-through like Swenson tapering with a linear stapler. In conclusion, the patient with residual HAEC showed good results after one stage redo Trans-anal Endorectal Pull-through (TEPT) Like Swenson. © 2024 Universiti Putra Malaysia Press.
