5G technology is an alternative communication ser-vice to provide better data communication services than LTE technology. Telco operators in various parts of the world are preparing to improve the quality of communication; even some developed countries have already launched the 5G technology. As a preparation effort for launching 5G technology, network coverage must be a well-calculated factor to achieve optimal services. The coverage underlies this research to examine efforts to increase the 5G coverage that has been previously studied with the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study is focused on the scope of Parameters, Mechanisms, Testing Setup, and Quality Criteria of the Selected Journals. Finally, this study is expected to contribute to researchers who study coverage aspects to improve future 5G technology services. © 2022 IEEE.
