East Java Province with an area of 47,799.75 km2, is a province that has the largest area in Java. Considering that East Java is a developed region, environmental pollution occurs. The main contributors to the pollution burden in East Java are transportation and industrial activities. Other sources of pollutants come from domestic activities, waste management, forest fires and other burning activities. As many as 3001 villages experienced environmental pollution. In particular, Sidoarjo regency is a regency with villages that have the most pollution levels compared to other regencies. © 2021 Author(s).
