Attention to the capacity of Rice Milling Companies is very important because this company is the main business actor that creates added value. However, there is currently no knowledge of the relationship between the capacity of rice millers and business performance Comprehensive information about the value chain also provides a direction for investment options/opportunities, where this can be found in high value added activities. This investment opportunity is apparently not being taken advantage of by business actors in the Province, the obstacles they face need to be investigated, whether it is related to financing or regulations that may not yet support the development of the business. Based on value chain analysis, it can be concluded that. Pidie regency is the area with the greatest added value and Aceh Utara Regency is the region with the smallest added value because more of its rice production is sold outside the Regency, considering that in this region the rice processing industry has not yet developed. Rice milling provides the greatest added value in the rice value chain © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
